Park Visitor would like to take the time to recognize the devastation that has taken place on account of Hurricane Sandy. All the affected people and parks are being kept in our thoughts and we hold high hopes that everyone remains safe in their efforts of restoration. We have heard from our State Parks in New York and the update is that our Long Island Parks (such as Robert Moses State Park and Jones Beach State Park) have been hit the hardest. There is still no access to most of the parks and the ones that are open, are being used as staging sites for restoration efforts.

Stay posted for more updates and on ways that you can to help.
